DOCK SIDE STYLE

I had a hard time refraining from jumping into this lake. We are going to San Francisco in a month and so every ounce of summer or water is just killing me right now because I so badly want to be in California where the weather is even better! I love pairing loose items with loose items. This blue dress is a little short for me in the front so I just put a similar flowy skirt underneath it. Love how it turned out! This outfit is great for a night out. If I were to wear it again, I definitely would pair it with some hi top sneakers. Half girly and half casual (dress and sneakers) is always darling!

DON'T GET MAD, GET PLAID

Okay cheesy title right? I wanted to be creative and I asked Dave what to put and him and my dad of all people in the room were trying to come up with some ideas. Anyway, all they had were phrases like my title above. My dad does upholstery and inherited this darling headboard from one of his clients. I love it so much, I thought I needed to take some photos with it. You don't usually see me in plaid and a fitted shirt so really soak in this moment. I am always wearing baggy tops so this was quite unusual. A good unusual. Oh and I'm obsessed with my new ankle boots. That's all.

SOAKED IN SEQUINS

I am pretty excited to see how these photos turned out. My sister gets all the credit of taking these ones for me and I have to say it is always a blast taking photos with her. What I didn't include in this post is all the extremely goofy photos. These photos include cutting my body out and "accidentally" pointing the camera towards random dogs in windows. Yes, there was a dog in this shop behind me and it definitely seemed out of place. Sequins are eye catching to me. The sparkle to them is wonderful and I think that is why I love this dress so much. I love heels and typically would have dressed all these sequins up a bit more but something about the cold weather always makes me want to dress cozy and comfortable (reasoning behind choosing to pair this outfit with the boots). Anyway, thank you for stopping by!

A LITTLE PARK CITY ADVENTURE

It's official. I decided to combine some of my life into my blog. I love running The Salty Mess boutique but it is about time that I put some personality into these blog posts besides me just wearing our clothes and letting you all know what we are selling! :) I feel expressing my lifestyle will make it a lot easier for me to show you my true colors besides my passion for clothing, accessories and everything else!

So this weekend was really fun! Dave and I got to go on a little adventure to Park City for one night by ourselves (this is a big adventure when you have a kid). We saw the new Catching Fire, shopped until we realized it was way too cold to continue to shop, and had so much fun being together. I feel I am endless smiles and love when I am with him. Anyway, he would only let me post one photo of him and I feel it is a pretty dang cute one. As for me, I was just freezing the entire time up in Park City. I clearly didn't dress appropriately.
