Oh my gosh! Today (well at least where I am) is such a beautiful day! (I wish you could see how I am saying this last sentence because it would be of me screaming and jumping up and down.) I just love when it is somewhat chilly but warm enough to want to be outside. It's just fabulous to me.
Because of my extreme/overly excited behavior about the weather, I just couldn't get over how much I love the colors of Easter. These are my three Easter outfit sets that I am going to strive to somehow recreate from what I have in my closet, or purchase as soon as I can! I just adore the color assortment of the pastels.

SEQUIN BEANIE AND MY SHOE OBSESSION
This weekend has been so crazy! We bought our second home which we are super excited about and renting out our original property. However, because the new home isn't ready at all to move into (painting and carpet and much more needed), we are living at my parents. I am home sick haha. Is that weird? I just miss having space of my own, that's all!
Anyway, this outfit post is to let you guys all know that these glamour sparkle beanies are on sale today on toADORN. They are a great deal right now if you have been wanting something like this!
Also, I am on the hunt for some new shoes but I can't tell if these boots that I totally am obsessed with right now will be a great choice for the weather we hopefully will start seeing soon. Any opinions??

2014 RESOLUTIONS & NYE OUTFIT

Dressing yourself for NYE definitely calls for some new items so I feel all of us should go to the mall and get something new to spice up the events and parties we have planned for later this evening! I always need to give myself an excuse of why I need something new and this is a perfect one!
Speaking of NEW, there is so much pressure and decisions when it comes to deciding how we are going to better ourselves for the upcoming year. Anyway, I have been reading other blogs and articles online for ideas of what my goals can be and I have found that getting help from others is a great way to start your own list! Go ahead and share with me some of your ideas or links to your blogs if you have similar posts because I would love to read. Now onto my list!! Bring on 2014!
2014 NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS
1. TAKE THE STAIRS INSTEAD OF ELEVATORS TO GET EXERCISE. Okay this one won't be hard at all mostly because I am deathly afraid of elevators so I already do this haha but it is a good one for everyone not afraid of elevators!
2. DON'T BRING ELECTRONICS OUT DURING DINNER. This is mostly targeted to when I am home eating with Dave and Bailee! It is so easy to get distracted in conversation about technology or worldly updates that we then both start looking things up! No more!
3. MAKE A STRANGER FEEL SPECIAL ONCE A WEEK. This could be out of some of our comfort zones but I know it'll brighten all our days! I know this because recently I have been at the store or mall and someone does something so tiny (compliment me, has me go in front of them in line, etc) and it sure makes me happy.
4. WRITE ONE HANDWRITTEN LETTER TO SOMEONE ONCE A MONTH. More service!
5. READ A NEW BOOK EACH MONTH. I love reading but as soon as I get out of the habit or stop for just a week, it is hard for me to get back in the groove!
6. SAVE 10-15% FROM ALL INCOME AND DON'T TOUCH IT! I'm going to need assistance with this one. As soon as I mentally tell myself something is an emergency, I feel the need to just take out a little little tiny bit that soon adds up!
7. TRAVEL SOMEWHERE YOU NEVER HAVE BEEN. This is my goal every year. I love seeing new places so 2014 better bring somewhere amazing my way :) As long as I keep up with goal #6, maybe it will work. Trips classify as emergencies ;) ;)
8. WRITE IN A JOURNAL AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK. Capturing memories is important. Read an entry you wrote a couple years ago and it will prove to you how important it is! You will realize that you didn't even remember half of that moment.
9. TAKE CARE OF MY HAIR. Make sure to use quality shampoos and conditioners! Wash it every few days to keep from drying it out and get more length to it!
10. GO ON A DATE ONCE A WEEK WITH MY HUSBAND. This goal has been a huge one for us ever since we had Bailee. It wasn't until after Bailee that we realized how important it is! It's a lot harder to do after a little one though so if you are in this situation, remember to switch off with other couples and it'll work out!

BUSINESS DRESS ATTIRE - GUEST POST
So during my new lifestyle of blogging, I have met several amazing fashion bloggers like myself. All of these ladies have been so nice and beautiful. As for Jenn Therese, she is simply gorgeous! I love her style and the way she blogs about the things she loves. She has a cute little blog you can check out after you read her guest post below. She dresses up a few items to create your ideal business styled look.

Hello Salty Lovers! Jenn here from Jennifer Therese taking over the site today from the inspiring and lovely Kristy as her guest fashion blogger! Normally, I do outfit posts of looks I wear from a day to day basis, but I wanted to switch it up and do a business style look. When the look was complete I remember feeling pretty and kind of sexy in a way. This jacket was a fabulous find from TJ Maxx. I swear that store is one of my favorites! You can find such unique pieces for such a good price. As for the skirt this was a piece that found itself a place in my closet without me expecting it at all.
This summer my mom was doing what I like to call a closet cleanse, and getting rid of things she just didn't wear anymore. Of course she always lets me look through everything before she gives it to good will and this was one of the items I tried on and loved! I was shocked! I remember always thinking I could never pull off a longer length skirt because I am so short (coming in at 5'3 on a good day) but to my surprise I loved it! I mean, it happened to fit perfectly and it was just so sleek and professional looking, I couldn't pass it up.
If you do not already have a knee length skirt, add it to your shopping list! If you are just as against them as I was, you have to find one that flatters you. Just like anything, different fabrics and designs fit body types differently. Find one that works for your figure and give it a try :)
Being a guest of The Salty Mess, it would only be right of me to share with you the amazing deal they have going on just for being a fan and a reader. They are giving each of you a discount on anything you see in their shop throughout the rest of the year. The discount code is "hellosaltymess" and you will be redeemed 20% off! With the holidays just around the corner how could you not take advantage?! I know I already have a million things on my list, and not just for myself! Buying for family and friends has never been so easy.
