The Salty Mess: LIEBSTER AWARD

Yay! I have never heard of the Liebster Award until Dallas, writer of Isabella's Array, nominated me. I feel so honored.

I will start by stating the few and simple rules to follow when passing this award on:

- Mention the person who nominated you with a link to their blog.

- Answer the 11 questions provided by the person who nominated you.

- Nominate 11 other bloggers with less than 500 followers.

- Create a new set of 11 questions for your nominees to answer.

Dallas asked me the following questions:

1. What made you decide to take the jump into the blogging world?

Hmm...I think it was Pinterest. After overcoming an addiction of viewing Pinterest everyday almost every hour, and adoring all the fashionable photos I continuously envied, I realized that writing and posting images of the things I wore would be a lot of fun! I think it is exciting to to come up with cute outfits and share it with the world!

2.What is your go-to outfit?

Leggings, a baggy t-shirt or sweater, and one piece of bulky jewelry (a necklace, watch, or large earrings). I like to be comfy, look simple, and to stand out.

3. Where is your favorite place to shop?

I love to shop at Lulu's or ShoeMint for my shoes and for the rest...(wow hard to narrow that down) Nordstrom Rack, Forever21, or little boutiques around town!

4. What are your goals and dreams for 2014?

I want to vacation somewhere with my husband that we have never been. I like to travel, as we all do, and I really want to make sure we go somewhere new this year!

5. Heels or Flats?

Heels and flats. You can't live without both.

6. What place do you dream of traveling to?

I want to go to Ireland. Ever since I saw Ps I Love You, I have died to go there. It look so green and beautiful!

7. Where is your favorite place you have traveled to and why?

The prettiest place I have ever been was to Costa Rica for my senior trip. The funnest trip I have ever been on was to Disney World for my honeymoon. Such different experiences but both so fun I just couldn't leave one or the other out of this answer!

8. What is your favorite movie?

Mega Mind? I don't know! I just love this one and it makes me laugh so hard every time.

9. Who do you idolize and why?

I love Rachel McAdams. She is so fabulous to me.

10. What is one word that describes you?

I had to ask my husband on this one to see what he would say. His answer was: "Creative. You like to create things and you are good at it".

11.What is the most challenging to you about blogging?

Taking photos. I think it is hard finding someone to consistently take my photos. My husband takes most of them but some days he has to work late and then I am in trouble. Let me know if you would like to help me with this issue ;)
